Emily and Kaylen: just classic
As I was looking for a parking spot close to the front of Emily’s sister’s home an oncoming car honked at me. As I slowly went beside the car I realized that it was Dave Tebbutt here to shoot a video of the day! It was a fun surprise as we both had no idea we were working together on this shoot.
We entered together and began to shoot. Emily and a few of her girls were just underway in their preparations. Emily’s sister, Adrianna and I attended the same College program! It was nice to catch up with her!
Emily was bubbling with excitement and that excitement and energy was contagious the entire day. Her dress was stunning and so were the rest of the details.
We soon both headed over to see Kaylen and his boys. Right from the time we entered the house there was a whole bunch of energy and laughs. It was definitely more of a loose atmosphere (The shots filled with what smelt like paint thinner might have had something to do with it). The guys were great to work with. Kaylen was as kind and accommodating as ever.
We soon returned back to the girls house to capture the final preparations. Emily was stunning in her dress and came down from the upstairs greeted by the LED flashes of smartphone cameras and of course squeals and giggles.
Their ceremony took place at the beautiful St. Mark’s Church in Niagara- on-the-Lake. After the ceremony, we shot the family portraits in Simcoe Park directly across the street. We continued portraits all around the Niagara-on-the-Lake area finally finishing with just the couple in some vineyards. The night was capped off at the Upper Canada Room at the Pillar and Post.
An epic dance-in started what would be a fantastic reception. Emily and Kaylen’s day was beautiful from start to finish. The couple are just fantastic people and a ton of fun to be around. Thanks for having me be part of your wedding. It was a great day and a privilege to capture.
I hope you enjoy these selections from their album!
