Ben and Sarah: quantity and quality
I can’t remember shooting a bigger wedding party than Ben and Sarah’s... they also rank up there for the most fun. Quantity and quality of people surrounded Ben and Sarah perfectly suiting this awesome couple.
My 2nd shooter Eva started with the boys. The boys were pretty well behaved but there are a few fun stories that came out of the morning. I don’t know everything that happened but I do know a bow and arrow was involved. Seriously... there was.
My morning started off at the home of Sarah’s parents. Hair, makeup, dresses and a lot of dance moves and laughter. There was no time or room for nerves; the girls were too excited for anything like that. Sarah’s dress, accessories and flowers were a perfect mix of classic beauty, country and fun. Time seemed to fly by and soon enough we were loaded into the limo bus and headed for the Niagara Botanical Gardens.
The Garden’s willow pond held the ceremony. The site was beautifully decorated as the two exchanged vows under the whispy willow. It was a wonderful ceremony filled with a lot of live music and some of the best personalized vows I’ve ever heard. Emotional and hilarious!
We shot the remainder of the family photos, as well as the bridal party portraits at the gardens. Such a great time to shoot!
Our evening capped off at sitting down for dinner overlooking Niagara Falls at Edgewater Restaurant. The sound of speeches talked over the roar of the falls behind us. The dinner gave way to the first dances which led into quite a party.
The photobooth was rocking and the dance floor was jumping. It was a perfect way to end an amazing day. Ben and Sarah are two great people and I couldn’t have imagined a better wedding for the two of them. I hope you enjoy these selections from their day!
