With only a few weeks left until Max and Alison’s wedding we collectively came to the realization that it was past time to have the engagement shoot. We were able to find an evening that worked well for us and went for a hike.
Alison and Max love walking along the canal trail just around the corner from their home in Thorold. The couple had some fantastic spots picked out along the way. I know it’s cliche for photographers to brag about their clients but these two are great. Fun, personable, and ready to do anything for the shoot.
It was a perfect evening but I think this couple could shoot in a monsoon and it would still turn out fantastic!
Can’t wait for the wedding in just a few weeks!
Special photo credit to Max on the photo of the shadow! You rocked it!

These are absolutely beautiful, and really captured Max and Alison in a natural way, really showing who they are and their glowing personalities. I got goosebumps!! These are wonderful, I wish I could write a better comment, but I'm still kind of stunned!! 100 points to Joel, I can't wait to see the wedding day photos!
