Diana and Alec: come rain and shine
Diana and Alec’s wedding was one I won’t soon forget. Diana and Alec and family were just great to get to know and work with. Their Sunday brunch wedding was delightfully quaint and elegant spreading across all 3 of the Vintage Hotels in Niagara-On-the-Lake.
The day started with me meeting with my newly formed video crew at a Balzac’s coffee (yes video crew more on that later). The three of us headed off to the Queen’s Landing to meet up with Alec as he prepared for the wedding day. After spending time with both he and Diana we took off for the ceremony site. It was a small gathering of family that watched the two say their vows at the rose garden behind the Pillar and Post.
We all gathered again shortly after at the Prince of Wales Hotel for a brunch reception. The solarium was a perfect setting for the couple and their family. The families each read speeches that were translated into the other side’s first language. It was a very nice gesture for both families.
We finished off the day walking around Niagara-on-the-Lake taking photos. Diana and Alec braved the cold and eventually the rain valiantly. We eventually had to head indoors to the Prince of Wales for final photos.
Diana, Alec and family could not have been more friendly and accommodating. I greatly enjoyed the time that I was able to spend with this group.
Diana and Alec’s wedding marked the first video shoot for JFHannigan Photography. I can’t wait to expand this new venture. I hope you enjoy Diana and Alec’s photos AND video! Check it out. I would love to hear what you think about it! Leave me and my video team a comment on the blog!
